Harmonious thinking brings prosperity and health


Harmonious thinking is uplifted thinking. Many people who are in poor health or worry over financial problems (and often they're one in the same) would be advised to learn how to develop harmonious thinking.

Lack of harmony brings on bickering, quarreling and general confusion. The ability to free yourself from these inner hostilities, resentments, and irritated emotions is like magic - it leads you to true relationships with yourself and those around you.

If you are out of harmony with anyone because of the past or present; if you feel that you have been robbed of the happiness you deserve; if you feel your unhappy childhood and family experiences caused you undue suffering - you may feel you have every reason for your feelings and for continuing to feed them. But your health, prosperity, happiness, and peace of mind will be destroyed in the process by holding on to these negative emotions. When you feed negative emotions, they grow. When you feed positive ones, they grow. The choice is yours.

You need to forgive and release these feelings forever. You will be doing yourself the biggest service of your life by releasing each and every one of these old memories. Mentally picture yourself in complete harmony with those who "harmed" you and you will be free. Mentally picture yourself in perfect health, abundant prosperity, and eternal happiness and watch your life improve. Form these pictures in your mind and hold to them. You are then releasing your faith to go to work in a simple but supreme way to produce harmonious results.

It works. A wise friend passed this on to me years ago and it works like a charm. Give yourself these treatments often to bring you the harmonious results you desire.

The Power of Forgiveness


Recently there was a terrible series of murders of little girls in Amish Country. The nation was shocked.
I was deeply moved by the comments the Amish people said about forgiving the murderer.
From Wikipedia:Most world religions include teachings on the nature of forgiveness, and many of these teachings provide an underlying basis for the varying modern day theories and practices of forgiveness. Instances of teachings on forgiveness such as the parable of the Prodigal Son[1] and Mahatma Gandhi's forgiveness of his assassin as he lay dying, are well known instances of such teachings and practices of forgiveness. Some religious doctrines or philosophies place greater emphasis on the need for humans to find some sort of divine forgiveness for their own shortcomings, others place greater emphasis on the need for humans to practice forgiveness between one another, yet others make little or no distinction between human and/or divine forgiveness.
Forgiveness has been a powerful force in my life. I learned that an unforgiving attitude toward God, man, myself, or the world in general only binds me to theses grudges, prejudices, and bitterness. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and be free.
Forgiveness is not just saying, "I'm sorry" when you're not. Forgiveness is an inner act that leaves you at peace with yourself and others.
Acts of forgiveness first bring peace of mind to the forgiver. Speaking words of forgiveness often turns the tide on painful situations and seeks to re-establish harmony with those around you. We saw a powerful example of forgiveness from the Amish community recently. It's something for all of us to contemplate and strive for.
